Returns & Refunds
You have up to 30 days after receiving your full order to request a return.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the delivered items have a verifiable quality defect.
How can I request a return with Montague & Rowe?
Step 1: Submit a return request
Log in to your Montague & Rowe customer account, select the relevant order, mark the items you wish to return, and submit your return request.
Our customer service team will review your request and get back to you within 24 hours.

Please include your order number, the items concerned, and the reason for the return. In the case of quality defects, please attach clear photos.
Step 2: Pack and return the items
Once your return has been approved, you will receive all necessary return instructions.
Please send items only to the return address provided by us.
Step 3: Refund
Once your return has been received and inspected, the refund will be processed within 15 working days.
Refunds will be issued exclusively via the original payment method used.
You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been completed.
Please retain proof of postage until the refund has been fully processed.
Return conditions
All items must be returned:
- unworn
- in original condition
- with original packaging
- with all tags attached
Items that do not meet these conditions cannot be accepted.
🚫 Items excluded from returns:
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Final Clearance”
- Lingerie, tights, and socks
- Certain accessories
Belts, bags, and shoes are generally eligible for return.
Notes on swimwear
For hygiene reasons, swimwear must be tried on over underwear. The hygiene seal must not be removed in order to qualify for a return.
Sets
Matching sets cannot be returned individually.
Orders paid with store credit
If your order was paid entirely with store credit, all items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.
What is not considered a quality defect?
The following are not considered defects:
- Loose threads
- Raw-cut edges
- Fabric thickness or material characteristics
- Colour variations due to different screen settings
Returns based on personal preference (e.g. style, colour, or change of mind) are not considered quality defects.
Damage caused by:
- Use
- Washing
- Improper care
- Self-repair
- Alterations or external influences
is also not considered a quality defect.
Size guidance
Please refer to our size guide before purchasing. Our customer service team can offer recommendations; however, size discrepancies are not considered a quality defect.
Due to different designs and cuts, slight measurement variations may occur even within the same size. The actual product measurements are always decisive.
Important information
Direct exchanges are currently not offered. However, you may place a new order and return the original item.
Shipping costs already paid are non-refundable.
Please do not send returns to the sender’s address on the parcel, as this is not our return address.
Returns without prior approval cannot be processed.
Please ensure that only Montague & Rowe items are returned. We do not accept liability for any non-Montague & Rowe items sent by mistake.
